Heart was who Director P. hired as the historical role of The Decider. The job of The Decider is to communicate with the outside world through visions and rituals. Director P., being overly logical, misunderstood this and instead ordered that The Decider must communicate with the outside world through complex technology. Heart, who could not keep up with a constant flow of encoded information unlike anything she had seen before, was left in horror when the machines had exploded in a fire, quickly spreading throughout the rest of the city. She was quickly blamed and sent to prison.
Years went by of being in prison with Diamond, who of which she was told to avoid interacting with no matter what. Unfortunately, she made the mistake of listening to it, and believing it, and as a result was transformed into a figment.
When she broke out of prison, she hid in the new Decisionist's headquarters. Her goal was to posess Ori and finish what she started. (Decode the encoded data.) She did this successfully by scavenging through the remnants of the old Decider's headquarters. However, people began to notice how Ori wasn't the same as she was before. After Avian confronted Heart (As Ori) and shot both of them in the chest (ouch!) Heart's memory dissolved. There may or may not be fragments of her.
